Stan Lee: The Original X-Man || We may have lost the episode introductions for this disk, but if the traid off is that we get Stan Lee? I think I can stand it. Because Stan Lee? Is the MAN. One thing I really love about him is he seems so genuinely happy about his creations- and just in gernally, like a happy, fun guy. If it's an act, it's a convincing one. Watching the intro with him on this disk is absolutely wonderful, and can be enjoyed by ANY X-man fan- not just the Evolution ones. Some highlights include him talking about how his own lazyness factored into the creation of the X-men, and why he gave Magento "that idot helmet." This interview should just make you smile, from ear to ear. The man's got an infectious, ubeat attitued. I love it. Excelsior!
Inside Xavier's Institute || A fantastic special feature! This feature is done up to look like a recruiting video for Xavier's Institute and the X-Men. Narrated by Wolverine, it's got some great shots of the layout of the mansion, as well as some rather humerous moments due to the narrator choice. I really enjoyed this one.
Trailer: X-men: Evolution - Beginnings || The fancy new title doesn't change the fact that this is still the same add you've watched on all the other disks. Not the most facinating sepecial feature. Well put together, but in the end, it's just an add to buy the other DVDs. Whiiiich you should really be buying ANYWAY... right?
Packaging || Flimsy, to say the least. Also, rather unsurprisingly, the language used on the box is a little laughable. But the actual design's not bad, and if it gets my my Evo DVDs, I'm not gonna complain.
